Real Life CPR has many courses that can be taken for initial or refresher training online.
We use Emergency Care and Safety Institute courses online. ECSI offers the most comprehensive and interactive emergency care and safety online training programs available. These courses will teach you how to prevent injuries and illnesses, as well as what to do if an emergency situation occurs.
Most classes require a separate practical exam that will be performed at our location (in either our Howard or Carroll County locations) after completion of the online portion of the course. Contact us for available dates and times to complete your exam. This portion of the test must be completed to receive certification. For groups of 10 or more, arrangements may be made for us to come to your location to do the testing as long as it is in our usual service area (call for details).
How do I schedule an online class?
If you are interested in taking a course online, please email us what class you are interested in and we will send you a PayPal link to pay for the class (you do not have to have a PayPal account to do this, just a credit card). After we receive payment you will be sent a code to access the class. You may also pay by check and the access code will be sent to you after payment is received and processed.

Adult and Pediatric CPR (Adult, Child, Infant)
This AAOS/ACEP online program teaches layperson basic life support skills to address breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Length: 2.5 hours Price: $43 * includes separate practical exam.
Professional Rescuer CPR
This AAOS/ACEP online program teaches health care professionals the basic life support knowledge and skills to address breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Includes two-rescuer CPR, airway and ventilation devices, and AED training. Length: 3 hours Price: $45 * includes separate practical exam.
Adult CPR and AED
Take advantage of this AAOS/ACEP combination online program teaching layperson basic life support skills to address breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults including AED. Length: 3.5 hours Price: $43 * includes separate practical exam.
First Aid and Adult CPR
Take advantage of this AAOS/ACEP combination online program teaching layperson first aid and basic life support skills to address breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults. Length: 4.5 hours Price: $60 * includes separate practical exam.
First Aid and Adult and Pediatric CPR

First Aid
This AAOS/ACEP online program teaches layperson first aid skills that meet the required OSHA didactic content, as well as presenting the first aid skills for injury and illness treatment and prevention. Length: 2.5 hours Price: $43 * includes separate practical exam.
Bloodborne Pathogens
This AAOS/ACEP online program teaches health care professionals and laypersons the knowledge needed to meet the required OSHA content for bloodborne pathogens prevention. Length: 2 hours Price: $18 (no separate practical exam required)
National Certification Provided:
AAOS/ACEP Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI). Certifications are good for two years except for BBP which is one year as mandated by OSHA.
